Design For Good Website

For a class project, we were asked to choose a social justice issue that we connected with. During high school, I spent a lot of my time volunteering to help people who were marginalized in my city. I created a website called Reside Here to provide a list of resources to people who are experiencing homelessness and bring awareness to those who can volunteer their time.

The website is divided into three parts: homepage, resources, and involvement.

The homepage is an introduction to the website, the issue and the designer.

The resources page is for those experiencing homelessness. They can navigate to find different shelters, meals or hygiene resources through an easy user experience.

The involvement page is full of resources for people who want to help. This can be through donations, volunteering or spreading awareness to friends and family about the issue.
